Overview
What is the Staten Island Brewfest 2010?
The Staten Island Brewfest 2010 is the inaugural and definitive Beer festival for New York City’s most picturesque borough. We’re bringing quality craft brewers from all over the country to our neck of the woods, with a special emphasis on our local New York State brewers.
A quick (and free!) ferry ride from Manhattan, the SIBF2010 will also feature historical exhibits on loan from the Staten Island Museum detailing the borough’s once-proud brewing tradition. We’ll have fabulous food and great music and another great feature will be our Homebrewers Pavilion, where homebrewers can display their wares, offer samples, and trade secrets (and beer) with some of their peers!
To avoid crazy lines, and better ensure every attendee gets to sample every delicious beer, there are two distinct sessions, early and late, each with an extremely limited 300 tickets. So rally your friends, choose your session, and come on out to SIBF2010 and enjoy some great beer!

Grand Opening in New Dorp of DiSara Pizza, An Italian Cuisine with an outdoor cafe located on Roma Avenue.
The Restaurant Features a Bar Area at the entrance, Dining room with neat decorations and a clean light set-up, a Catering room which can be used for private parties big or small and an outdoor cafe.

- Lava lounge is officially closed and the new establishment will not be serving food at the current grand opening announcement.
- Shaggy’s Cheese-steak will be opening at the previous La Villa location on Hylan Blvd, in New Dorp. Maybe we can get something close to real Philly Cheese Steaks around here?

Bay Side Cafe Lounge

Grand Opening of Restaurant Bay Side. The restaurant features a Mediterranean cuisine, items such as Lamb Kebab’s, Hummus, Baba Ghanoush is all served in this lounge style atmosphere. The previous restaurant at this location was (Al Hakorah Alboostan), both the dining rooms undergo some small renovations and different seating style, the back (Hookah Lounge) area adds some neat decorations which can create a little bit more private dining experience.
Bay Side does not serve alcohol at this time.

Mi Casa replaces Nieto’s on the North Shore

A new restaurant opens up at the 1195 Castleton Location which once was “Nieto’s” an Ecuadorian restaurant cuisine.
Mi Casa adds a buffet into their dining room to allow for quick lunches and more choices.

Maze’s Creamery Menu now Listed

An Ice Cream shop opens up on Forest Avenue a couple of months ago and we have it now listed on WhereyouEat. The place stands to say that have over 200 Rotating Flavors which include everything from Gelato, Ice Cream, Sorbet, Cream Ice and Italian Ice. Many products that are available are Cholesterol Free, Fat Free, Sugar Free and Low Glycemic. The place makes the ice cream and desserts in the establishment itself. You can sit inside or outside and take out available. They make dessert catering and offer all their products in 1 gallon to 5 liter pans.
