Full Cup, Has been opened for about 6 Months after being renamed from ‘The Cup’. Located on Vanduzer Street, this establishment is very unique to Staten Island. The front features a home style ‘Coffee House’ feel, with living room couches and a bathtub used as a table giving it that casual, sit down, read a book and relax feel. Full Cup is different during the day, but converts to a bar style comedy club, karaoke bar and other various stand up shows happening almost daily.

The room behind the ‘Living Room’, features a large Theater Style, but very casual setting, sort of like a large private basement welcoming friends with various entertainment. This room features a bar with some tables to the right side. Really seems like a great environment, a place that people of all kinds and interest can seem to enjoy.

The menu (we currently received their basic menu, the menu page will be updated shortly with their complete items) features items such as Bacon Wrapped Dates, Macaroni and Cheese, Crab Meat w/ Yogurt. Chopped Spinach w/Swiss and Monterey Jack. The menu also has ‘Sandwiches’ with items like the BBQ Pulled Pork, Pulled Jerk Chicken w/Mango Salsa, Pear and Sugar Walnut Salad.

Events change daily, you will soon be able to find their event dates on the Menu Page of the Directory. Bing Nights, Comedy Shows, Live Bands. One of the managers stated that they even stream their shows live through the internet, so be sure to check out their own website (Link available from their menu page).

A new European style French Cuisine comes to mid-island, located on New Dorp lane, this restaurant replaces the ‘Uzbekistan’ cuisine and restaurant that recently closed.
The new owners wanted to bring a different type of taste to Staten Island and with only a single other restaurant serving French Cuisine in a dine in style atmosphere, they decided this would be the perfect location.

The restaurant walk-around features a dining area with room for live band which they plan to have during the weekends.  The most exciting part is the menu, and us here at WhereYouEat, love something that’s new and different.  Items on the menu are very unique, appetizers such as Esargot in Pesto Sauce, Crepes with Caviar, French Style stuffed eggplant with cream cheese, beef carpaccio all seem to focus on it’s cuisine feel.

Then we have the Salads such as ‘Duck Breast’ and ‘Salad Rendezvous’ which is served with lettuce, cucumbers, avocado and salmon).  Soups with European style Borscht, Solyanka, French Onion, Dumpling and serving a special Soup of the Day.  On the main entrees, they serve items like the Chicken Liver, Half Roasted Duck, French Style Chicken, Israel Schnitzel from the Poultry section.  The Meat section has items like the Pork Cutlet, Veal Rolls, Beef Stroganoff and Filet Mignon is served under the ‘Filet Rendezvous’ with goose liver baked in puff pastry.  All entree items comes with sides, veggies, rice or potatoes).

Looking further at the menu, we have many items from the main selections.  Fisherman Corner features items like the Classic Shrimp and New Zealand Mussels, The grenouille in white sauce in herbs (Frog Legs) seem enticing.  Seafood entrees include Chilean Sea Bass, Escolar, Baked Basa Filet and more.  All fish is grilled or baked and served with a choice of 2 (Veggies, Rice, French Fries, Chef Style Potato or Mashed Potato).

The management and the chef specifically wanted to make a statement about their delicious desserts, Crepes with Fruits, Assorted Pastries and Fruit Strudel with Ice Cream is also on the menu.  Night Rendezvous also features a complete lunch special menu for $8.95, they offer Delivery, Dine in and Specializing in Banquet Private Parties.
