Soup n Burger opens on Emmons Avenue

It is the location of the old El Greco diner and the new building is housing a few restaurants at the street level.  Soup N Burger is the first to open (Grand Opening happened August, 18th – as of this articles post it is yesterday) and it’s bringing exactly what the name says, Soup n Burgers to the neighborhood.

The restaurant is featuring a huge outdoor seating section along the side of the restaurant and in the front.  Free Delivery is available as well as dine in service and baked goods on premise.  It’s a coffee shop, a dessert bar and a diner type of menu offerings all in one.  Breakfast, lunch and dinner is all available.  Start the day of with breakfast options such as SNB Breakfast with Omelet, a $19 signature dish served with 5 different kinds of cheeses, tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, salamai, sigar roll, fried sausage, jam, butter along with drink of choice – pot of tea or coffee.  This dish is meant to be shared.  Omeletes include the Menemen, Turkish style scrambled eggs, Poached Eggs Benedict selection and Pies (Borek), Toasts and Gozleme.

Sheepsheads Bay newest restaurant features a comfort food style menu, soups such as Creamy Mushroom to the Mehir, a cold soup made with whole grains and chick peas broiled together, mixed with yogurt.  They even have a Tripe soup on the menu, Boiled tripe cut into small pieces, cooked with special sauce and served with garlic and vinegar.  Salads such as Mediterranean Spinach, Greek and Organic Avocado all come topping less, but you have the option to add Salmon, Octopus, Shrimp, Cheese or Chicken to any plate.

The signature burger at SNB is the Angust Beef, Avocado, Lettuce, Tomato, Red Onions and Cheddar.  Small Plates are a appetizer in disguise section and wraps  along with sides fill the rest of the menu until you reach desserts.  Large selection of Shakes including Cookies Crunch, Berry Blast and Candy world, Smoothies and Pie’s are all served at this soup n burger hot spot.
