The restaurant is a one open dining room with simple clean layout, tables and chairs and not much decoration yet.  But for some reason Tacos el Nopal gives off a traditional Mexican cuisine, maybe it’s the outside design or the interior colors it is a welcome addition to Bay Ridge.  The grand opening was just last week, early July and the menu choices include standard Mexican Specialties such as Tacos, Burrito’s, Tortas, Enchiladas in sauce or Rancheras style served with rice and beans.

Apps include Mussels, Fried Pickles and Artisan Lettuce Salad made with vanilla poached apples, red onions and bleu cheese served with Sherry vinaigrette and olive oil.  Chile Relleno is a poblano and jalapeno pepper stuffed with oaxaca cheese and topped with salsa, served with Pinto Beans and 3 soft corn tortillas. Tex Mex plates such as Fajitas are available.  Skirt Steak “Grilled Arrachera”, Mojo Pork, Fish and Chips fill the meat section of the menu.  The restaurant also goes into serving Pescatori and Sopa de Mariscos a soup made with Shrimp, Mussels, and Tilapia fish in a spicy Guajillo soup.

For the now the restaurant is offering free delivery to the neighborhood and focuses on dine in.
