Don't even bother ordering from here for delivery. IT IS THE WORST. The 30 min wait was actually 1-1/4 hours. The food was cold. Part of the order was missing and the food quality was mediocre.

This is not a very kid friendly restaurant. They give them glasses to drink from & when you give a 4 year old a glass it is bound to break. You shouldn't get mad when that happens. The food is ok I don't know why people say it is so good. The atmosphere is not very nice. You have to walk thru the bakery to get seated. There are alot better places to go in staten island and they are close by. They are also very very slow at serving.

I ordered the 24 small cannoli gram recently. This website is not clear as to the products, shipping, costs, tracking, and contact information. It states all orders will be next day delivery. I placed an order reluctantly because they sounded good. I never got an email with info and total, order number or anything. Plus the website didn't give me an account login or info when I checked out and paid for it. No contact info on website except email but you don't see the address info. So I googled their business and called them. The people working at the bakery were not very informed about the website orders. Called several times for manager, etc. Was told several times that someone would call back. They never did. Finally, I got a hold of someone. They told me they had problems with the website. Had my order and I was already charged $39.99. In order to ship it, she told me it would be another $39.99 for shipping. Since they already had charged me and I wanted it, I decided to do it this one time. Well, they shipped it a couple days later and it took 2 days. I called FedEx and they told me the shipping was less than $20.00 to ship it here the way they did. When I opened it, the dry ice was all melted with liquid at the bottom. The plastic container eith the cream in it was cracked in 4 places and leaking and the water was re-entering the container from the cooler. Needless to say I threw it out. The cannoli box was crushed but they were okay. I media truly called them. It took more calls and I talked to the same lady "Manager", who told me she packed it and acted like what do I want her to do about it. I told her I couldn't use the cream and finally she told me she would send another container of cream to use with the csnnoli's I already had. Kinda upset with that because I would have to wait another week and the cannoli's could spoil. But I said okay. She never sent me the replacement cream or called me. Nothing. So I paid $79.98 for nothing, except a cutout piece of plastic to use as a "pastry bag". Unbelievable. I never got to sample it so I can't give you a review about that. This is the worst order and customer service I have ever experienced in my 58 years of life. Still haven't heard from them. No product, no refund, no I am sorry, nothing. I would recommend that you shop elsewhere and beware of this website and business. I also googled more about them and read other complaints to include about their bakery. RIPOFF!!!! And the so-called owner I asked to talk to and tried to email, apparently doesn't care or exist. Dominick! Never heard from him either.

Had dinner at Broadway Mike's with friends last night. Front bar and room are great. Noise level loud to begin with, throw in a 4 piece band with 2 singers during a Saturday night dinner crowd and you are trying to have a screaming conversation. Hint - skip the band til 11:00 PM. The band was just ok, but too, too loud for dinner music.
Service - Fair at best. Cannot deal with a 21 year waistress making excuses for why we are waiting over 15 minutes for our initial cocktails . When asked for the 3rd time, where our drinks were, a reply of "I put the order in, you know I can't go behind the bar myself". We could ordered at the bar faster than she was able to finally get them to us. Hey, don't blame someone else, do something about it. We're obviously upset, want to pay lots of money for overpriced drinks, get the drinks - whatever you have to do. Same thing with the coffee at the end of the night. Four people order coffee, only 3 cups of coffee arrive. When we finally get the waistress's attention, she states "Well I put in the order." What's that supposed to mean, like it's not your fault. Get the 4th coffee. Also, If we're paying $200. for two for dinner (one drink, app., entree, moderate bottle of wine and coffee and dessert), I don't want to have to raise my hand and claim my entree. Get it straight, place my entree in front of me, don't make me raise my hand.
The young inexperienced waistress who is blaming everyone else for any problem, needs to go. At these prices , service should be perfect, which is was not.
Food was adequate. Nothing outstanding, had fish, spouse had a steak that was cooked medium not med. rare as ordered and a bit tough.
Nice room, a bit too Italian for a steakhouse, but the host was charming. I'll try it one more time if we don't have to have the same waistress - she's out of her leaque.

Trully one of the greatest places in SI to eat. The food is delicious, prepared to your individual liking...the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. We were there with a couple of friends on a sunday night and had the greatest time. Food, music, service, drinks and interior design - we loved it all. Highly recommend to everyone.

***DO NOT USE*** - I did the delivery program with this company for two weeks and I have to warn people because its just not right. To start I was very disappointed in the quality of the food that I got on delivery. Sometimes I would recieve food that just smelled rotten. I would call and complain and they would replace it, but thats hardly the point. After I was talking to a friend of mine that works for the Board of Health in the gym I found that they have been recieving citations for health violations. If you are looking for meal delivery or going to eat around there do yourself a favor and find somewhere else.

My boyfriend, his brother, his mother, and I dined at Henny's last night for his mother's birthday. This is our 3rd dining experience at Henny's. The first two times we went there, we were impressed with both the food and the decor. The service was mediocre. I had the buffalo filet last time we went and I could not believe how moist and delicious it was! It was better than steak filet mignon. Last night's dining experience was not like our last 2 experiences at all. The service was slow despite the fact that we were 1 of 3 tables in the dining room (It was Friday October 29, 2010 at 8:30pm). We ordered the pork lollipops which were overcooked and chewy, the fried zucchini which was pretty good, and the blue cheese salad which was the highlight of the evening. I was very happy the salad was so delicious because unfortunately I was not able to eat my entree. I once again ordered the buffalo filet, when it came it was 2 small "nuggets". I would assume it was the end pieces, it did not look appealing but I figured it would still taste as good as last time. Boy, was I in for a surprise. The only way I could describe it is that it tasted and smelled like dog food. I have no idea what was wrong with it, if it was not stored properly or it was old or what, but it was the most disgusting thing I have ever bitten into in my life. We summoned the waiter over (after several minutes to locate him) and he asked if I wanted anything else. I said no as I was digusted at this point, and that was that. No one else came over to apologize. Nothing else was comped despite the fact that we ordered after dinner drinks and dessert and we spent $260 on dinner and I didn't even eat a meal! My boyfriend ordered the porterhouse which was so rare in the middle, it was bleeding and he couldn't eat the whole thing. His mother also ordered the porterhouse and she claimed it was "ok". His brother ordered the veal and lobster tail and said that it was good. The waiter could not explain what the veal steak was, so thankfully it was good despite him having no idea what he was ordereing. Never in my life have I ever sent back a meal. To send back something that compared to Alpo and not have a manager come over to apologize or offer anything on the house is not good customer service. I will never dine again at Henny's and I will tell all of my friends and family to avoid it as well. Customer service is the key to any successful business and I hope that in the future, other customers do not have the same experience I did.

Went to Puglia's a few times now before writing this. I wanted to be fair and not base my review on just one visit.

While the service was not the most attentive, I thought the food was really good. The place was not too crowded the last time, but it was still hard to get the waiter.

I would definitely go back and if I found the service to be poor, would just get it to go.
