South Shore Staten Island gets a brand new trendy bar serving American Comfort food in a unique yet trendy style restaurant.  Twisted Dish features a full sized (with option to eat at) bar showing top events, side dining across from bar and two full open dining rooms with TVs on all sides.  The restaurant also features some creative and interesting quotes such as “The perfect balance diet – is a Cheeseburger in both hands”, “I cook with wine, sometimes I even add it to the food” and many more that will keep you busy waiting for your food or drinks.

The restaurant actually sits at the old spot of Luigino’s in the small parking lot – It has been completely gutted and fully renovated to fit the new owners vision of a ‘Comfortable yet Trendy’ environment, and it really does this well.   Paired with a unique and comfortable menu that features items such as Sliders served between warm toasty homemade waffles or Chef’s Baby Meatloaf with cheddar mashed potatoes, fried crispy onions and gravy sandwiched between buttery griddled corn bread – makes it a place you can’t wait to check out.

Other items off the “Small Twists”, – a possible perfect pairing for eating at the bar include  Loaded Lobster Quesadilla, Nacho Average Nacho made with a trio of chips piled high topped with slowly braised short ribs, melted cheddar and corn, crisp citrus slaw and avocado.

The “Main Twists”, Entrees feature items such as Beer Braised Short Ribs, Center cut Pork Chop, Bacon Lobster Mac and Cheese, Apricot Brandy Glazed Chicken Breast.  Burgers are a big focus the original Twisted Burger is a 9 oz handmade burger, Gruyere cheese, grilled red onion, roasted garlic aioli and crispy kettle chips on a toasted seeded bun.  Other selection include Monkey Burger, Chickpea Burger and B3 Burger with creamy 3 onion cheese, Thick cut Apple-woodbacon and Smoky BBQ sauce with Fried Onions served on a toasted everything roll.

Sandwiches, Twisted Soups and Greens as well as sides fill the rest of the menu at Twisted Dish and it seems as enough to create hungery to anyone reading the menu.
