A brand new Cafe opens in Midland Beach/Grant City section of Staten Island.  Ciminna Cafe is designed to resemble a ‘Sidewalk Cafe’ style with table bar style seating on one side, tables on other along with a cafe stand and open pizza oven on the side.   The restaurant is serving up pizzeria specialties, appetizers such as Nonna’s Meatballs made in Sunday Gravy topped with Ricotta and Mozzarella Cheese can be had along with Garlic Pesto Shrimp served over Italian Bread.   The Ciminna Salad signature is what tells the story, Mixed Greens, Vine Ripened Tomatoes, Olives, Garbanzo Beans, Provolone Cheese, Red Onions, Roasted Red Peppers topped with Locatelli Cheese.

Various selections of pasta can be had for $10.95 to $14.95.  Entree’s such as Pollo Florentine and the Signature Pollo Ciminna is made with Sauteed Chicken with Mushrooms, Sun Dried Tomatoes and Artichoke Hearts. The new restaurant also serves selection of Heroes, Panini’s and Large Heroes.  Choices include Pesto Panini, Sausage and Peppers, Grilled Eggplant and many others (check the menu page for full menu).

Pizza is the specialty is Staten Island’s newest cafe. Choices of Classic include items such as Quattro Formaggi, made with 4 cheeses including the Pecorino, Ricotta, Gorgonzola and Mozzarella.  Selection from Red style pizza include the Googi made with Fresh Tomato Sauce, Mozzarella, Italian Sausage, Pepperoni, Meatball and Prosciutto. The White Pies include items such as Fabbro made with Grilled Shrimp, Mozzarella, Cherry Tomato and Red Onions, Drizzled with E.V.O.O
