Opening: Troy in Staten Island

A new European Restaurant, Catering Hall and Bar opens in the Midland / Grant City section of Staten Island.  Centrally located this restaurant features a private parking lot, outdoor dining and two large dining areas with ability to host large private parties or small gathering events.  Troy restaurant had previous boasts stating that they plan to cook food the way our ancestors ate, without much preservatives and natural flame fires.

The menu features a European Cuisine with a french twist, Salads such as French Lobster salad is made with Stuffed Shrimp and scallops, Frisse and Shaved Fennel along with Pistachios, Blood Orange and Grand Mariner Dressing.   Aussie Kangaroo Filet with Crisp Pancetta, Grilled Figs, Radicchio, Pear Chutney, Pistachios and Brioche.   Roasted Beet, Arugula and a few other standards such as Greek Salad, Caesar, American String Bean and Grilled Chicken fill the rest of the Salad Menu.

Soups such as Carrot Cream, Lobster Bisque, Acqvacotta made with Cantaloupe, Strawberry and Mango are featured at Troy.  Raw Bar Appetizers is a full menu with everything from Oysters on the Half Shell, Jumbo Shrimp, Whole Lobster, Shellfish Tower, Black Caviar, Poached Pear, Salt Block Cured GrowLax, Empanadas and many more items.

Main entrees include everything from Rib Eye Steak to German Schweinshaxe (pork chops) and in between items such as Lamb Koftas, Spanish Veal Chops and Filet Mignon.  Hot Fish Entrees include Stripped Bass, Sea Bass, Shrimp and Scallops, Fried Red Snapper, Bransino and some other items.
