The famous Royal Crown in Old Town now has a “Satellite Location” (not officially), Filoncino Cafe is a brand new Sandwich Shop to open up in next to the previous location of Chicken Holiday and the same mini plaza as Holiday Beverage.

So everyone loves Royal Crown right?  Known for over sized selection as well as large options of sandwiches made on all different types of breads, paninis, heroes, wraps, crispy rosetti roll or any other selection that tickled your stomach (Menu to Royal Crown).  So Filoncino is just that, the menu is not as comprehensively big, but they seem to hit every want on the table without writing each sandwich type of option and also seem to be missing pizza and pasta, but the basics are on the menu.

For Breakfast the cafe is serving Italian style sandwiches like the Arugula Egg White omelet, selection of Bagels with toppings such as Lox, Peanut Butter, Tomato, Raspberry Marmalade and a few others.  Selection of Coffee’s, Cappuccino, Latte, Chai Latte’s is a must of this bakery.  On the way to the sandwich portion of the menu you’ll pass Salads and Wraps.

The famous sandwiches offers everything within the following categories, and each category has about 5 or so selections.  The Grilled Chicken for example comes with Mozzarella and Roso Balsamic, the Avocado with Red Onion and Arugula, Fried Eggplant with White American Cheese, Gruyere Cheese and Tomato or the Fontina Cheese with pesto. Fried Chicken selection offers Roasted Peppers, Hot Peppers Spread and Arugula and many others.  Filoncino continues with the rest of the menu following, Vegan specials include Broccoli Rabe or Mixed Greens, Steak made with Onions or Potato and Eggplant, Soppressata made with Provolone and Olive Spread, Salami, Prosciutto, Hot Capicola, Smoked Prosciutto, Roast Beef, Turkey, Ham and Tuna sandwiches.  This menu is not stating the available bread selection, we don’t think it would be as comprehensive as the Royal Crown but may offer all the standards, Heros, Wraps, Panini’s and maybe some others.

Platters are available and have the little Gluten Free symbol and with options such as the Tuna Platter made with mozzarella, roasted peppers, cheese, eggplant, roso balsamic glaze or the Roast Beef Platter served with Mozzarella, Roso Balsamic are also options.
