It’s Finally Opened!  The Greek restaurant whereyoueat visitors have been inquiring about for the past month or so is opened for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner with Free Delivery available to the neighborhood.

How Greek It Is! is the name that replaced the “COMING SOON” sign that stood out at the 2224 Hylan Blvd across from White Castle and Planet Wings.  The restaurant replaces Ciminna Cafe and keeps a very similar interior decoration along with the pizza oven.  As of Labor Day, the restaurant is opened for business and serving homemade Gyros and Pork Shawarma along with an entire Greek specialty item list which we’ll get to in a second.

The restaurant is owned by the same people that brought you Dimitri’s Gyro Joint on Castleton avenue but decided to change location when a spot became available with on-site parking and closer to the owners home.  Husband and wife team run the operation at How Greek It IS.

The menu starts with Breakfast Specials; 9 Deals such as Two Eggs with Potatoes and Toast served with Coffee and Juice for $5.50 to the hungry man special made with Three Eggs, 2 Bacon and 2 Sausage, Pancakes or French Toast, served with homefries and coffee for $10.95.  Omelettes, Sandwiches and Sides as well as cereal can be had at Staten Islands newest Greek restaurant.
