The sudden demise of Sushi Excellent, which became a landmark in New Dorp – the location brings a new “Sushi” spot to Staten Island.  Up to 50% Off on Sushi Sashimi every day is the main tag of the newest Sushi Spot.  Oishi is an Asian Fusion and Lounge restaurant, the prices compared to the previous spot are lower all across the board.  The menu features Chinese Cuisine such as Oishi Lamb Chop and Chilean Sea Bass.  Thai Cuisine offers a selection of various style Curry, Red, Green, Massaman and Thai Mango sauce.  The new restaurant features Dinner Special Box, Hibachi Dinner, Noodle and everything from the Asian/Japanese continent.

The spot does not go through any major renovations, in fact the restaurant was not even closed for a day.  The new owners just put up a sign Monday morning and boom a new Sushi spot is born on Staten Island.  It is starting to seem as New Dorp is the Sushi Capital of the world – we have Chikurin across the street, Jade Asian Bistro on the same block, Crown Palace not too far away, Nori Sushi in New Dorp Plaza.  Each restaurant seems to bring their own environment and chef’s try to outdo one another by preparing good food.
