The logo had us confused for a a short time until we cleared it up with the owners.  At first it seems that the name was Hatue, but the E looking letter at the end is actually a Chinese Character and therefor the name is Hato, Japanese Cuisine.

The dining room remains very simple, some light fixtures coming soon will give it a more dine in feel.  The menu, while standard Japanese Sushi is offered, the restaurant does feature a wide selection of Japanese Kitchen Dishes.  They even offer a “Sushi Happy Meal”, choice of California Roll, Boston, Philadelphia, eel Cucumber or Spicy Salmon, served with sweet potato fries and spicy mayo, plus a choice of soda.

Dishes at Hato offer everything from the standard Chicken Teriyaki to some of the Ramen Specials including Spicy Pork Belly, Grilled Pork Chop and a few others.  Pasta (Asian Pasta) comes in variety of Zaru Udon, Spicy Cod Roe, Grilled Pork Cutlet, Beef Steak, Grilled Salmon Avocado, Hato Seafood and the Yaki Udon.  House Specials sit on the menu are Sizzling Grilled Sautee dishes such as Sizzling Chicken, Shrimp, Tofu, Squid and Beef.  The squid is reaching a high price point of $18, hopefully it’s justified with portion size and the way it is served.

Lunch specials from Hato start of with the standard Two Maki Rolls for $8, Three for $11, Broth Noodles for $7 – $8, Bento Box for $9 and Rice Dishes for $7 – $8. Hato is opened 6 Days a week, closed on Monday’s.  Delivery is available over $12/min.
