A new sushi spot opens in Castleton Corners section of Staten Island. This new Kume Sushi sits on Forest Avenue right next to the Forest Thai Cuisine, it replaces the long vacant Yamato which was a Japanese Hibachi restaurant.

The restaurant is offering Free Delivery to all zip codes surrounding it’s location of 1209 Forest Avenue.  On the menu is Hibachi and Teriyaki Lunch as well as Kitchen Lunch Box and a Sushi Lunch.

The main menu offers the straight forward Soup, Salad, Kitchen Appetizer and Sushi Appetizers such as Baby octopus, Tuna Tartar, Yellowtail Jalapeno and many other specials such as Soft Shell Crab, Negimaki and Shumai Specials. Sushi Entrees fill the rest of the menu with Chirashi , Vegetable Combos, Maki Combos, Sushi Dinner and others.

Kume Special Rolls go for $10 to $14 and has many selection options such as Pink Lady Roll, Rock and Roll, Spider Roll and others. Japanese style noodle soups such as Yaki Udon or Soba are options at this new restaurant.  Bento Box Entrees go for $18 and include a complete Shumai, California Roll, White Rice and Miso Soup and Salad with a choice meat such as Chicken, Steak, Salmon, Shrimp or Tofu.
