The previous location of Bagel House located on 61 Giffords Lane, Great Kills has finalled opened up as “The Sandwich Shop” – with a take on Breakfast and Sandwiches / Heroes, the restaurant is open for Pick Up & Delivery.

The menu is in a way short and sweet; you have Breakfast Burrito, Frittata Sandwich, Jersey’s Famous Taylor Ham & Eggs as well as the Corned Beef Hash & Eggs Platter.  Sides such as Crabby Fries are tossed in Old Bay, served with Cheese Sauce or go for the SS Poutine, braised beef, fresh cheese curd & beef Au Jus.

On the Cold Sandwich section you get yourself a choice of Philly Style Hoagie. Shrimp Club, Italian, Chicken Salad, Tuna Salad and Alanna’s Perfect Bite.  The Hot Sandwich section includes items such as the New York Famous Chopped Cheese, originated in NY Bodega’s made with Chopped Hamburger Patty with sauteed onions, American Cheese served on a pressed hero.

Original Philly Cheesesteak made with Prime Ribeye Steak, served WIT caramelized Onions & Cheese Sauce.  Or go for the Chicago Style Italian Steak, Lynn’s Reuben, Chicken Cheesesteak Hoagie or the famous Tony Luke’s Chicken Cutlet sandwich served with Sauteed Broccoli Rabe and Provolone Cheese.  Louisiana Po’ Boy is on the menu as well with Fried Shrimp, Lettuce, Tomato, Jalapeno Pesto Aoli.

The Boss Man is a slowly roasted pork with Long Hots, broccoli rabe & provolone cheese.  The Fat Sandwich is a Chicken Cutlet, American Cheese, Bacon & Oven-Roasted Tomatoes topped with House-Made Fries, Onions Rings & Secret Sauce. Salads & Desserts are available as well.

The sandwich shop is featuring take out and delivery only, the counter is open deli style as it keeps the same look and feel from the original Bagel House.
