Updates, Openings and other News for January 4, 2011

Based on a few user requests we have added Coffee & Tea Market on the North Shore to our listings.  From the South Shore we have San Marco change of ownership, it is now known as Il Sogna, also next door the previous Mona Lisa is now Trio.

News for Tuesday June 15th

• A&S Pizzeria on Stuyvesant Place recently renovated and added a new dining room which deploys as a Party Room.
• Angelo’s pizzeria in Midland Beach is closed for the time being, a sign hangs outside stating “Watch for our New Opening”.
• Steiny’s Pub has a kitchen which is open Monday-Saturday 11 a.m.-7 p.m.
• Downtown Cafe across the street from the courthouse on 99 Stuyvesant Place is now known as A&M fresh bagel and deli.
• Moe’s place is closed and in process of renovating, it is likely to be named St Marks Pizza.
• Lukwarma; A Sri Lanken Restaurant is coming to Bay Street and Broad Street replacing a Mexican Bar.
• Dina’s Hideaway Kitchen is now re-opened, the new menu should be added shortly.
• Brisis a Spanish Restaurant on Stuyvesant Place has been shut down by the Board of Health.
• French Tart on New Dorp lane is now for Rent also shut down by the board of health.
• St. George Parish Grill has hour changes.

Latest News: A week after our “Long Weekend Break”

Yes, We are back from our Long-Weekend break and ready to hit the Island strong this week.  A few upcoming posts on Grand Openings: Henny’s, Sushi-Excellent (Re-Opening).  Yes we are here with you and have not missed these restaurants.  Henny’s has only opened on Tuesday and we have already started our weekend on Wednesday (Sorry), Also a big story in Sushi Excellent has fully renovated the restaurant and we will be taking photo shots some time this week.  We also have a few restaurant additions that we need to take photo shots include (Rudy & Dean, Beso) both are participating in the Restaurant Month. 

A little of Site News:  We will be creating an Employee Wiki and have it shown to the public so you are able to see what we have planned this week and which menus/restaurants are being updated

Menu Updates for now:  May May, Fillipo’s, Nove, Good Taste, Go Go’s, Beso,  La Bella, Bobs Ribz, Los 2 Potrillos and a few more (By the Way, Thank you for your help) and if you realize a menu is outdated please help us by selecting the “Outdated Menu” button from the top of the restaurant page.
