A New Mexican Take-Out restaurants opens it’s doors at 2703 Church Avenue.  The menu states Antojitos Mexicanos, meaning it’s a Mexican Cuisine.  The restaurant is open daily from 6am to 10pm and offers Free Delivery of Tortas, Tacos, Ensaladas and Tostados.  If you have never tried a Torta, then here is what you are missing.  Each sandwich is served on grilled portugese bread and includes Cheese, Lettuce, Tomateos, Onions, Avocado and Chipotle with a selection of meat: Breaded Chicken, Breaded Beef, Grilled Steak, Chunks of Pork, Salty Beef, Mexican Sausage, Tongue beef or the Pig Ear.

The simple but filling menu includes almost all items except main entree’s such as Mole De Poblano on the menu (Which is an authentic mexican item but more for dine in).  Mendez Tacos does serve Huaraches with Green or Red Sauce, Fresh Aguas (Juice, Quesadillas, Enchiladas and Burritos.

Pricing is on-point with other Mexican Restaurants, Tacos for $2, Tortas for $6.50, although it is missing the Cuban Torta (Which usually comes with everything, we are sure if you ask they will make it).
