Caribbean-Latin restaurant featuring Chef Isaac Reyes opens it’s doors in Prospect Heights last week. – Currently only open for dinner from 5:00pm to 10:00pm (Fri & Sat until 11).
The interior isn’t big, but it’s a boutique style restaurant where you can tell they serve good food. The restaurant is in a oval style featuring a bar on one side and tables around the exterior – the seating arrangement seems to be very comfortable. (Check out photos on link below).
The menu offers items Bacalaitos which are beer battered salt cod fritters with tamarind mango chutney. papusa is Corn Masa Cake with refried been puree, queso fresco, tomato cilantro salsa, pickled cabbage. Many more items like the Pinchos de carne, Ceviche Caribe, Ropa Vieja De Pernil are found on the appetizers menu.
The main Entree’s (Principales) offers items such as the Blackened Oxtail Stew, Marinated Grilled Fish of the Day with a Ginger Coconut Sauce, Sofrito Marinated Roasted Breast of Chicken, Sliced Skirt Steak, Grilled Jerk Marinated Center Cut Pork Chop and Many More.
