Grand Opening: Campania Coal Fired Pizza in Bay Ridge

Classic Brick Oven Pizza comes to the heart of Bay Ridge.  Campania opens at 4th Ave and 98th street serving a wide selection of specialty Coal Fired Pizzas.  The Menu features standard 16″ round with various toppings, but the interesting is the 12″ round Gourmet Coal Fired Pizzas which give a selection of Red Sauce including items such as the Margherita Pie, Lombarda, Calabrese, Ortolana, Puttanesca and a few other specialty.  Choose to opt for the White Pie and you can enjoy items such as Funghi, made with Fresh Mozzarella, ricotta, portabello mushroom and garlic, or enjoy Clam, Nonna, Carciofi.

Campania also serves other items, Appetizers, Antipasta such as Focaccia, Pot of Mussells, Pot of Clams, Polpette di Nonna and many other unique items such as Coal Fired Broccoli Rabe and Sausage.  Salumi, selection of assorted cheeses, cured olives, salumi and bruschetta is on the menu as well as Oven Baked Sandwiches in 7″ and 14″ sizes.

The restaurant feels bold and casual, very nice interior which seems to provide a comfortable dining experience.
