Grand Opening: Romanoff in Gravesend

By In -Featured, Brooklyn, Grand Openings

The new restaurant replaced the long standing and very famous Rasputin on Coney Island Avenue in the heart of Gravesend.  The photos listed on the restaurant page does not do it justice and we will be taking new photos very shortly.  Romanoff is a large multilevel restaurant with a dance floor in the center and large area for live entertainment, shows and bands. While Romanoff specializes in catering and private events such as weddings, Bar and Bat Mitzvah as well as corporate events, the restaurant also offers Al a Carte dining.

The menu features variety of Veal, Ribs, Steak, Chicken Kebabs, Seafood, Sea Bass, Lamb and appetizers such as Fish Platter, Salmon Roll, Red Caviar with Blini.  Salads include a option from every palate, Asian Seafood, Duck Confit, Lobster, Fresh Salad, Caesar and Lardon Salad.

Catering Menus come currently in two options (that we have), Noble which is $80 includes First Course items such as Goose Liver, Pickled Vegetables, Seafood Salad, Smoked Fish, Assorted Meat, Roasted Potatoes, Seafood Pasta and Short Ribs.  Entree’s come with Grilled Salmon and Grouper Fillet Rolls as well as Prime Skirt Steak with Lamb and Chicken Kebab with roasted Chicken.
The Royal menu is a bit more pricey at $120 and includes Smoked Sturgeon with Red Caviar, Lobster Salad, Lardon Salad, Duck Confit, Entree’s over here come with Chilean Sea Bass and Grilled Sturgeon with Sauteed Vegetables as well as Rack of Lamb.  Seafood Extravaganza comes with Lobster Tails, Soft Shell Crab and Langoustines.
