Grand Opening: Sujo opens in Williamsburg

A brand new Korean Gastropub opens up in the heart of Williamsburg.  Sujo opens it’s doors this week and brings some unique cuisine to the already highly diversified strip of Bedford Ave.  Sujo features a sleek line style design, bar with some unique drinks such as Jalapeno Margarita being displayed as the special, a few tables line up on the wall and has space in the backyard for outdoor dining.

The restaurant offers Lunch Specials served in a Hot Stone pot, select between Spicy Pork, Angus Beef, Glazed Tofu or Sweet Soy Chicken and for around $10 you have a full Korean Style lunch.  Small plates such as Kalbi Roll which is charbroiled short ribs, pickled daikon, cucumbers on pan-fried scallion pancake.  Pork Belly roll is made with Seared Pork Belly, napa kimchee and pickled daikon.  Sujo also features a Yakitori selection of Short Rib, Pork Belly, Chicken or Enoki Bacon.

Sujo features a full selection of SSAM, where the dishes (except steak) is served with lettuce wraps, boa buns and dipping sauces (the steak comes with grilled onions and mushrooms).  Items on this portion include Berkshire Pork Belly, Short Ribs, Sliced Angus, Grilled Angus, Spicy BBQ, Teriyaki and all have a price tag of $23 to $28.  Entree’s at Soju include Home Mad nappa kimchee, enok, water crest, spam, pasta, rice cake and melted mozzarella.  Bibim Bap can be had for $15 and comes in a hot stone mixed rice with seasonal vegetables and an egg.
