A brand new full line Halal Restaurant and Market opens in the Port Richmond section of Staten Island.  While the parking may seem a bit impossible, the new market has it’s own private parking lot, a full selection of Lebanese (Middle Eastern) cuisine as well as a full grocery and mini market.

The name states what this new establishment offers, it’s like the Asian Market (although much smaller) but it does feature enough grocery and raw meats to do enough shopping for the house but also features a full restaurant menu with some tables and booth style seating.

The menu features sandwiches served on Hero’s, Rolls or Pita.  Items like the Beef Pastrami and Turkey Breast can be had for only $3.99 on a roll.  Hot sandwiches include Shawarma, Rotisserie Chicken, Shish Taouk and some others go for under $6 and come ona  pita with lettuce, tomato and other salad.   Vegetarian sandwiches such as Falafel, Hommous, Babaghanouj, Tabouleh and the Grape Leaves go for $4.50.  Shop and Eat also serves plates for $7 and Combo platters (choice of two cold appetizers) for under $11 (mixed grill goes for $18.

Rotisserie Chicken is available where a Whole Chicken goes for $10 and comes with Garlic and Pickles, Hal Chicken can be made with rice or Salad and Garlic or Tahini and goes for $7.

Shop and Eat offers Take Out and Free Delivery to the surrounding area, Catering is available.
