Lately on Staten Island we have been noticing a huge increase or even a start to comedy nights. Maybe it’s the recession that keeps kicking and giving idea’s to Restaurants Owners of how they can keep the locals “Happy” in these “Sad” times. So where can you go for some Laughs, Food and even a few Drinks? Two establishments on Staten Island are “Comedy Club” venues, which include Uncle Vinnie’s Comedy Club situated on 168 New Dorp Lane serving food from the Villa Ponte Pizzeria next door and The Looney Bin also serving food from the Pizzeria next door.
We are a Restaurant Guide establishment so the focus of this article is Restaurants that Offer Laughs. Comedy nights have been going on for years in the Restaurant Scene but mostly on rare occasions, once in a while. But in search to bring diners some entertainment while dining, we have a few different types of restaurants offering shows.

- Sushi Excellent: Comedy nights are managed by Richie the Bartender and happen about once a month on Thursday Evenings. They convert the upstairs dining area into a Comedy Stage and the entire room is enjoying the show. The show price is 10$ per person with a regular dining menu. The menu is of course Japanese “Sushi”.
