Seppe Pizza Bar opens in Stapleton

By In Grand Openings, Staten Island

It’s the newest addition to the Urby Apartments at Navy Pier Court, this time, a “Pizza Bar” joins the options along a Seafood Restaurant called Surf, Mexican Cuisine Gringo’s and a Cafe.  Seppe Pizza Bar is just that, a modern style pizza fusion bar.

The restaurant features two main areas, bar section with about 5 or 6 raised two person tables and a full dining room to the other side featuring 3 rows of seating with couch booth style separating the other side. The view is open so the full restaurant along with the open Pizza Oven is within view.

The wings are Oven Baked Seppe Wings, they are just that, as from the owner, “Marinated overnight in a bath of love” then baked, garlic, herbs & hot cherry peppers.  They looked delicious when I saw them coming out of the oven, unfortunately didn’t have a chance to try them.

Appetizers include a mix of Italian specials such as Calamari fried or sauteed, roasted peppers with fresh mozzarella or tomato.  Stuffed Mushrooms, baby artichokes and a mixed salumi plate to get you started. Pizza comes in a build your own or an option of house pies, served in Red or White.  Options include Shroom Thyme, cremini mushroom, mozzarella, thyme and truffle oil or go for the Pep in your Step, Jalapeno, Pepperoni and Hot Honey.

The menu continues with a few Classic Dishes and Sandwiches such as House made Meatballs, Eggplant Parm or Chicken Parm along with Pasta options and Salads.

Seppe also features a Lunch Menu, includes all similar pies and appetizers along with Sandwich options.

The restaurant also features a full Wine List and Bar Menu, but a custom created Cocktails Menu is where the focus seems to be, A selection of Bespoke Seppe Cocktails and Timeless classics, made with ingredients from all over the world but rooted in Italian Tradition, they are to be enjoyed with delicious Italian food or simply on their own.

Includes La Columna (With Rosemary Tequila and Charred Grapefruit), Figura Old Fashined (made with Fig and Walnut), Yuze Guys, Bottled Negroni, Aperol Spritz and a few others.  You can see on the WhereYouEat listing.

Currently Seppe is open for dine in only but will soon begin offering Take out and Delivery.  7 Days, open 11:30am until 10:00pm daily, Closes at midnight on weekends and 9pm on Sundays.
