Ayat Palestinian Street Food opens in Bay Ridge

At one single corner of bay ridge at 85th street and 3rd avenue – 3 New restaurants open up all with Street Food concepts, all by the same owner Abdul Elani, also owner of Cocoa Grinder, Faladi Farms and Fritebar.

The restaurant had so much personality to it, beautiful design on the outside, beautifully designed on the inside.  Open kitchen and everything looked very fresh. Ended up ordering Mashawy, Chicken Kebab served over Rice, Hummus, Babaghanoush and Salad – it was Fantastic!

It was so good, I ended up ordering one to to go for dinner.

The menu has a focus on Palestinian, Arabic, Middle Eastern Street Food.   Selection of appetizers, shawafel style sandwiches or platters include Beef Shawarma, Falafel, Chicken or Mixed. Other traditional favorites such as Fattat Jaj and Fattat Lahma sit alongside Mashawy options and fresh made beverages.

Ayat seems like a great addition to add some flavor to the dining scene in bay ridge.  Just a block away from Kings Souvlaki, where you can compare similar Shawarma style meat but different spices and flavors.

Ayat is open 7 days and will be offering Take out, Free Delivery and Dine in options.
