John Pino’s Pizza opens up in Bensonhurst

Big changes just happened in Bensonhurst, first Sofia pizza closed. Now John Pino’s, The Original Pino Pizza Ristorante of Brooklyn opens at this location on 20th avenue. John, the owner has a huge following and states to use only the Finest Ingredients and serving the Best Quality Food.

While the restaurant is a Pizzeria on the front, it is actually more of a complete kitchen at it’s heart.  John is known for serving great pizza but the specialty are his plates of food and entree’s.  Seafood dishes include the Sea Food Marinara, the complete seafood dish made with Shrimp, Clams, Mussels and Calamari in a lightly spiced (very famous) marinara sauce.  Lobster Tail Fra Diavola is served, which other pizzeria do you know serving Lobster Tail? You can even have Red Snapper Marechiaro sauteed with chopped tomato in an extra virgin olive oil and fresh garlic sauteed dish.

John Pino’s (also serves Veal Dishes, Pork Entree’s and Chicken.  Pasta specialties are made fresh and include Homemade Lasagna, Eggplant Parm, Home Made Manicotti, Baked Ziti, Clam Sauce, Alfredo sauce and other specials. Quick take out options available as well. If you missed the Pino Special Hero, it truly is special with delicious Chicken Cutlet, Fresh Mozzarella and Roasted Peppers.  Rolls can be had for $5, Healthy Dishes go for $12 and includes options with Sauteed Spinach or Broccoli served with grilled chicken.

The standards are on the menu as well, personal pan pizza, large pan pie’s, specialty pizza options include the Palermo Pie grandma style topped with homemade sausage and broccoli rabe. Various style of Soups include Stracciatella Alla Romana, Pasta Fagoli and Minestrone.

Pino’s famous Philly Steak is on the menu as well – Check it out, a Grilled Fresh Sliced Ribeye steak with peppers, onions, choice of Mozzarella or Provolone cheese served with mushrooms or Cherry Peppers (or both). The Original Pino’s Pizza served Desserts as well and with a selection of Tiramisu, Chocolate Mousse, Carrot Cake, Cannoli, Spumoni, Tortoni, Tatufa and even a Nuttella Pizza to be shared – can be had
