Edo opens on Coney Island Ave

Sheepshead bay gets a brand new Asian Fusion Japanese & Thai eatery serving Sushi, Habachi and Thai. EDO replaces a previous Japanese Restaurant and brings totally revamped new flavor to the neighborhood.  Dinner specials such as Filet Mignon Cubes and Thai Lemongrassy chicken fill the menu along with Thai Style curries and Chinese Style General Tso’s Dishes.

Asian Fusion is the name of the game – therefore you will find multiple Asian cuisines under one roof.  Teiryaki style Japanese dishes such as Beef Negimaki and Salmon can be had for $13 – $15 respectively.  Hibachi dishes are seared Japanese favorites in similar price range.  Ramen Soup is available as well as Udon Noodles and come in a selection of Chicken, Beef, Shrimp or Seafood.

Whatever the case EDO and the location is just well known for Sushi!  Rolls at this restaurant go for $2.75 to $3 for your standards such as the California Roll, Inari, Sweet Potato, tuna, Rock n Roll and Philadelphia along with many others.  Sushi/Sashimi style a la carte rolls can be had for $1.25 with a pretty decent selection of all the standards sushi such as Tamago, Ikura, Squid, Red Snapper, Yellowtail, Mackeral and Octopus.  House Special rolls is where EDO shines with the leader EDO made with 2 Shrimp Tempura, Seaweed salad, Cucumber topped with Lobster Salad and Cheese.  The Special Spider, Panther, Dynamite, Fantasic and Four Season roll all go for price range of $9 to $13.

FOLLOW UP: As per restaurants request – and we forgot to mention Lunch Specials – EDO offers  “Box Sets” sometimes known as “Bento Boxes” served with Fried Shrimp Shumai, Jasmine Rice, Miso soup or Salad for $8 – Selection of Teriyaki, Chicken Katsu, Broccolli with Chicken, General Tsos dishes, sauteed string bean, Lemongrass and Pad Thai dishes.
