This restaurant replaces ‘Samurais Steak house’ at the same location at 7407 3rd avenue.  Tairyo has some fast positive feedback from the community, and it’s Japanese Fusion menu offerings leave the best of the previous restaurants favorites while adding a few improvements to the menu, and now serving a whole selection of Japanese food.

As a Grand Opening you get $5 off $30, Kitchen Lunch specials include Teriyaki, Tempura and Hibachi lunch deals for $8.95 to $9.95, along with options of Sushi Lunch.

The Main menu features entire Japanese apps such as Soups, Salads, all the standard appetizers including Yakitori, Grilled Hamachi, Harumaki and pops.

Tairyo is also introducing ‘Poke Bowl’, a recent concept of serving sushi open on a bowl over rice with salad, a selection of protein, toppings and special sauce. It’s a great concept, especially if you ask for less rice, more salad. Bento Boxes and all the entree’s are served at this new eatery. Chef’s special are real!  Lamb Chops were coming out for a few patrons while we were doing our opening shoot, and they simply looked delicately delicious and for the price of $23.95, very well worth it.

Ramen is on the menu, Tonkotsu the standard famous Pork Bone broth with Char Siu, vegetable, fish cake, scallion and egg, Seafood, Beef Tomato, Salmon Tomato, Tofu Miso, Shoyu and Miso ramen are all available.

Wide selection of Sushi Rolls are available from Bay Ridge’s newest eatery and they bring the Naruto, Rainbow style made with Tuna, Salmon, Yellowtail, Kani, Avocado inside a cucumber wrap, my new favorite type of sushi without rice.  Other options include Sexy, Spicy Lover Roll, Treasure Island, Cruncy, Iso Fantastic and many others
