This somewhat famous Sushi spot from Sheepshead bay and a
few other locations in Brooklyn makes it’s way to New Dorp Staten Island.

The restaurant features a dining area, mini bar and a sushi bar along with TV located in the center.  Chikurin has a standard Japanese cuisine menu with a wide offering of regular rolls and an even wider focus on Special Rolls – which are displayed on the menu full with pictures.

Prices at Chikurin start at a very reasonable $2.75 for regular rolls such as the Alaskan, Avocado, Boston, Cucumber, Ginza and a many others.  Prices climb gradually for more unique rolls such as East Roll made with Shrimp, Egg, Cucumber, Avocado and Tobiko all the way to the Rainbow Roll made with Crab Meat.  The specialty rolls start at $7 and go up to $15 with most rolls being offered for around $9 to $10, check the menu page to view each item in details.

The rest of the menu features appetizers such as soft shell crab, baked oysters, deep fried oyster, vegetable appetizers, wide range of salads, soups and noodles.  Chikurin offers Hibachi Dinner and Bento Box for take out and dine in along with lunch specials “lunch box”.  A la carte sushi can be had for $1.25.
