Grand Opening: Craft House in Staten Island

The restaurant replaces the previous Against Da Grill on Vanduzer Street in Tomkinsville, the same owners bring North Shore a new dining experience and it’s something for the neighbors to be excited about.

It’s a Gastropub, BBQ, Beer Garden Bar and the menu is unique and different.  The restaurant features a bar with seating around as well as more tables in a separate room.  Sports games (currently world cup) was being shown on screen and seemed like  a comfortable environment to have drinks and food.

The menu features a not over-abundent selection of appetizers but just enough to hit every taste bud, Roasted Corn Dip served with fresh tortilla chips, Craft Wings with a selection of sauces such as Pineapple Habanero, Jerked or Buffalo.  Sliders, Shrimp Diablo jumbo shrimp wrapped in crispy bacon and Rib Tips.  Burgers are 1/2 pound angus beef that are never frozen and fire grilled.  Salads include Caesar Salad, Jamaican Me Healthy with Jerked Chicken and Cobb Salad.

Entree’s is a smokehouse style selection with Ribs, Pulled Pork, Beef Brisket smoked for 12 Hours, Fried Chicken, Chicken and Waffles, Fish and Chips.  Prices are also very reasonable around $10 – $13 for 1/2lb of Brisket to $15 for chicken and waffles.  Sides offered are Jalapeno Corn Bread, Shoustring fries, summer coleslaw, Mac and cheese, German potato salad, bacon n blue green beans.  Deserts include banana pudding, strawberry short cake, Oreo Cheese cake and red velvet ice cream sandwich.
