Staten Island’s only Uzbekistan Cuisine opens it’s doors in the Midland Beach section of Staten Island
Every year at this time there is an influx of restaurant openings across Staten Island, probably across everywhere around the country as well. We guess season is coming back in September, school is starting and a fresh start is always great for the community, especially if they bring a new set of flavors and great offerings.
Sim Sim replaces Sorry Babushka which is located across from White Castle at the corner of Lincoln Avenue and Hylan blvd. The restaurant is fully renovated and gives a feel of authentic Uzbek dining, it’s like a Tea cafe with seats made from the luxurious Uzbek carpets and the entire place is made to feel like an old world European house
