New Greek Restaurant opens in Arden Heights: Greek Fellas

By In Grand Openings, Staten Island

It seems that the entire island has instantly transformed from Pizza, Chinese & Sushi spots to a whole new collection of Greek, Turkish Restaurants and Middle Eastern Cuisine.  We have another Greek Restaurant opening by the previous owner/management of Tom’s Tasty Grill on Targee Street (Followed by Kat’s Tasty Grill)

Greek Fellas is Staten Island’s newest Greek Take-Out spot, it is located in the little strip mall at the 1547 Arthur Kill Road location where a little pizzeria once stood – it’s the same spot as The Pizza House (which moved into Casa Ninos not too long back).  We don’t have the official hours yet, but we are certain this Greek restaurant is opened for Breakfast and Lunch and platters available for dinner.

This is a Take-Out only spot, with just a few seating area coming soon.  It’s sort of like a mini-diner with a coffee station, breakfast station and a menu with a focus of quick take out food.  Gyro Platters, Salads, Wraps, Cold Sandwiches, Pita Pizza and Burgers as well as hot Sandwiches fill the rest of the menu.

Prices are very reasonable , maybe on the low side these days.  Burgers go for $2.99.  Gyro Platters can be had for $7.99. Greek Dishes such as Moussaka and Spanakopita go for $7.99 – $9.99 and the Gyro Sandwiches start at $3.99 for the veggie to fully loaded mixed meat gyro of $7.99.  The Hungry Greek Fella breakfast sandwiches for $4.99 comes with Potato, Eggs, Bacon, Ham, Sausage and Cheese.  Even fully loaded breakfast platters have a very reasonable price of $7.99 which is served with 2 Eggs, 3 Pancakes or French Toast or Waffles and bacon, ham and sausage for.
