A new Italian Restaurant opens up in the Pathmark Plaza of Great Kills right off Greaves and Amboy Road.  This casual Italian eatery replaces Joe’s of Avenue U, but as for requests by many local patrons – they keep a single page of the menu featuring Sicilian Specialties with stuff such as the famous Panelle Special, Rice Ball, Pasta con le Sarde and many more other items.

The main menu features Antipasta  such as Calamari Scaloppati, Involtini di Bufala Prosciutto di Parma and Melone Bianco which is a Creamy Bufalo Mozzeralla filled with fresh melon baggio and prosciutto di parma. Signature Salad is Mesculin with Cherry Tomatoes, Carrots, Zucchini and Corn.   Pasta’s go for a price range of $15 to $24, priciest being for the Frutti Di Mare and starting for the Baked Gnocchi.  Risotti is found on the menu, Large selection of Fish Entree’s, Veal, Chicken an Pork fills the rest of the entree’s. Entree’s vary in price from $15 to around $22.  Selection of Vegetables and Soups fill the rest of the menu.

The dining room features a comfortable casual Italian style dining with a lobster tank in the middle for fresh seafood right from the catch.
