The Richmond opens on Bay Street

It’s the previous location of Freshtarian many years ago and most recently the long standing Gatsby’s on the Bay with the 50’s theme.  A new restaurant makes it’s footprint at the popular Stapleton location.  The Richmond, a Casual French cuisine with a bar menu as unique as the main menu.

The restaurant features an open dining area with a few sections, live fireplace at the end, step up overlooking bay street, a bar section and a fully renovated outdoor garden area (pictures not shown yet)

The menu starts with The French Charcuterie, it’s the main Share Plate with various cold cuts, meats, cheeses, vegetables, olives, fruit.  Other sharing plates include Octopus, Cauliflower, Hot Cherry St Louis Pork Ribs, Pierogies and Kielbasa, Spicy Shot Rib Steam buns and a few others.

Beef Classic tartare is on the menu as well as Yellow Fin tuna Tartare.  Soups such as Kale, French Onion and Spicy Seafood Bisque to get you warmed up and continue to the Mac N Cheese options with either Beef or Seafood mix.   The Richmond Burger is a double pattie American Wagyu beef served on brioche bun, or you can have the Mushroom Truffle Burger, a Vegan option made with roasted Portobello, wild mushrooms and truffle spread.

The main dinner plates at the Richmond include a few well put together items.  Moules Frites, Organic Chicken Breast, Alaskan Wild Caught Salmon, Beef Short Ribs and Steak Au Poivre, a Grass fed 14oz center cut NY strip with Green peppercorn served with house cut fries.

The Richmond is opened for dinner 7 days.
