It’s another one of those Staten Island locations that seem to be going through constant restaurant changes. The history is long, There was a Peruvian Restaurant called El Cholo, then El Petra, a Mexican Restaurant and continued the trend to Shirani and Blvd Cafe and juice bar both Sri Lankin restaurants.
Sagara is a Brand New Sri Lankin restaurant, and with the recent closure of Staten Islands famed San Rasa, although that too was replaced by Curry Leaf, Sagara is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. We’ll see in the coming months how it plays out but the menu is sort of similar to the rest of Sri Lankan spots.
