Sayori Sushi opens in Westerleigh

By In Grand Openings, Staten Island

The original owners of Osaka on Forest Avenue are Back! and they have a similar menu, actually very close to the original as it gets.  It is an Asian Cuisine with a main focus of Japanese Sushi, Teriyaki and Bento Boxes.  Sayori is now the only restaurant on Staten Island featuring an authentic Tatami (Eat sitting on the floor), give it a try for the experience.

The interior and exterior are nearly identical, maybe some changes in tables and seats but in general overall the same look, feel and even logo colors.  Sayori Sushi features Bento Lunch Specials with pricing from $11.95 to $15.95.  The House Special dishes are ‘Korean’ style with items like the Squid Bokum a Stir Fry dish made with Vegetables and Spicy Sauce.  Bi Bim Bop is a mixed vegetable dish in a hot sizzling stone which you should mix at the table as soon as it comes (or it starts to stick), but they will tell you that.

Sayori also features Ramun ‘Ramyun’ and other various noodle soups.  Opened 7 Days serving Lunch and Dinner.
