It was a perfect day for a great event and the turn out was huge. The day started in Stapleton at Edgewater hall, we enjoyed a taste from many of these great restaurants and have pictures to show.
Event starts and tickets purchase (At the door) – Edgewater hall – This is where you pick up the map to seeall restaurants participating
First food items are located right in this building, we are introduced to Pulled Pork sandwiches along with a cheese station and mini bar.
We start at next door “Gatsby’s On the Bay” which is serving up a Mushroom Bisque (forest mushrooms) and a Gorgonzola Style salad.
We continue to Tapas, the newest Fine Dining Spanish Cuisine “Tapas Bar” on Bay St which is serving Shrimp Aiellio (Garlic shrimp over Toast).
Our next stop is Wazobia, African Cuisine which was serving Dishes with Chicken.
Located across the street was Lakruwana which during the time had Sunday Brunch going on but was giving Lentil Soup to North Shore Crawlers
Continuing up the street we run into Toppings, One of Staten Island’s newest Restaurants that serves unique items such as Lobster Rolls, Truffle Burger and many more unique offerings. During the Restaurant Crawl Toppings was sampling the Chicken and Waffles with Syrup. Just Delicious!
After hitting most of the restaurants in Stapleton, we had to drive a bit to start our next spot of food sampling and we end up at VIDA which was serving a Polenta with pulled pork and Black Beans.
Next place on the map was 120 Bay Cafe, which unfortunately we didn’t sample food due to the much crowd, especially since our goal was to visit every place on the map
Blue owned by the same management team as Beso and Bayou were serving Spring Style roll with Pulled Filling and Chicken Stick.
As we continue on our way back down towards Bay Street we stop at Leidy’s Shore In which had various Perogies, Bratwurst, Sandwiches prepared for the North Shore Crawlers. The Bar/Tavern doesn’t serve food on regular days but is in the process of building a kitchen. The food we tasted was great!
Next was Adobe Blue’s which served Pulled Pork with Home made Cole Slaw and a Biscuit. Also Yum!
Ruddy and Dean, one of very few Staten Island Steakhouses was serving up Toast with Meat (which I forgot what kind) but as many of other place it was also delicious.
Pier 76, the spot with Thin Crust Pizza was sampling slices and pasta – Always very tasty.
Then we drive ourselves to Rosebank where we start with Fire Grilled Burgers (Staten Island’s newest burger spot) where we sampled a burger:
Bayou across the street had too much traffic going on and we did not get to sample the food:
Pronto Pizza was serving mini rolls
Bin 5 was also on our agenda but were a bit overwhelmed for food shots – Photos coming soon as management said they would send it over shortly
Next was Gastropub The Phunky Elephant which was serving something unique as Mac and Cheese Egg Rolls ,they also had a live band going on at the time.
Rosebank tavern across the street was serving Mussles Marinara
And finally our last location was Da Noi
