The artistic nature of the business starts by looking at the restaurant from the outside.  Steps are built with hand made pavers, awning gives a feel of Japan along with custom design and lettering to give a feel of entering a little authentic Japanese restaurant.  The restaurant does look small from the outside but they creatively make the best use of the space and actually feels very spacious inside.  Entrance has a welcome table for the host, main dining area sits across from the Sushi Bar, inside a little boutique, it truly feels like a different world inside, and you could easily forget you are dining in a basement of a private house, yet it somehow instills an authentic feeling of dining in a Japanese home.

The secondary room features 5 Table Booths along with tables on the other side.  Although the room is small, it’s made to feel cozy and can easily create a nice cozy private dining area in each booth.

The Menu is straight forward Japanese, Soups such as Miso, and Seafood made with Fish Cake sits on the menu alongside with a few unique Appetizers such as Shishito Peppers, but in general it is a Japanese menu.  Yoshi Roll, the managers roll is a Crunchy Spicy Tuna inside topped with White Tuna avocado and Wasabi Mayo. The Staten Island Roll is a Spicy lobster, Oshinko, Avocado, Wrapped with Soy Bean Paper.  The menu does feature the Teiryaki entree’s, Tempura Dishes, Noodles Udon or Soba, Pad Thai and Fried Rice.  Dinner Bento Box goes for $19.95 and includes all the sides, Miso Soup, Salad, Shumai, California Roll, rice and a choice of entree.
