Okay Folks, it looks like it is FINALLY OPENED! It’s been a rocky road for this location ever since Sake One closed a little over a year ago. It was recently “Tomoyo” which never really panned out and never officially opened. A Korean spot that stayed in it’s soft opening phase until the big sign went up “For Rent”. The new owners quickly came in and scooped up the location, in which we always thought was quite good, with great exposure along hylan blvd at the corner of Nelson ave. The kitchen was brand new and the spot was recently renovated.
Here we are today with Sushiya, a Japanese and Asian cuisine with a little bit of Thai Specialties such as Curry and Japanese kitchen dishes including Teriyaki and Hibachi.
