Lorenzo’s Pizza opens on Staten Island

By In Grand Openings, Staten Island

The official name is Lorenzo’s Pizza of New York, this Restaurant and Pizzeria is replacing Sharkey’s Square at the Dongon Hills location, but the restaurant promises to keep the same SQUARE PIZZA Recipe while adding a full selection of Specialty Pies and other various dishes to the mix. The new owner of the business is Joe of Lobster House Joe’s , so we know their seafood pizzas will be one of the best.

On their Grand Opening display they featured the Clams in red or white sauce pie and it looked really tasty.  The Calamari pizza they showed off on their instagram also looks excellent, we can’t wait to try it in person.

The restaurant is keeping a similar look, open pizza section, kitchen to the back left and an open area for sitting.  Lorenzo’s is featuring a drive up street parking lot, and offers free delivery to up to 3 miles of the surrounding location.  With the pizza on display, they are definitely worth the drive even if you are outside of the radius.

Okay lets look at the menu… Sharkeys Square was famous for the Square Pizzas of course, but also their famous party boxes.  Lorenzo’s will be keeping the same Party Boxes available which include Option 1 a 12 slice square pie, 12 wings, garlic knots, chicken roll and a 2 liter soda for $40.  2 Large Pies or a Veggie Party boxes includes Rice Ball and a Calzone along with the 12 slice square pie.
