Grand Opening: Sabor Restaurant & Tapas Bar

A new restaurant comes to Arthur Kill Road, Sabor Authentic Latin Cuisine and Tapas Bar.  On a specific note, this restaurant is NOT RELATED to the Sabor that opened up last week on Hylan Blvd.

This restaurant features a separated bar area which can be used for waiting or eating at the bar and offers a single large dining area.
The menu starts with Tapas/Appetizers which includes a variety of Latin Crispy Calamari, Grilled Octopus over fried cassava, Sauteed Clams, Skewered Shrimp and Spanish Chorizo as well as Puerto Rican style Empanada and a few others.  Soups can pass for a dinner, at $17 for the Authentic Puerto Rican shrimp gumbo soup or the Grandma’s traditional Puerto Rican soup with meat and authentic Caribbean flavors for $13.
The entree menu starts with categories, Ceviche offers the Fresh Florida snapper marinated with lime, red onion, cilantro and garlic.  Classic PUerto Rican dishes include the Mofongo Criollo with items included the Shredded skirt steak braised in garlic, Braised Oxtail, Mashed Green Plaintains.  Rice Dishes include a Paella served with Yellow Saffron Rice.  Meat dishes include Grilled NY Sirloin, Grilled Pork Chops and so on.   A Variety of seafood dishes and sides as well as a kid’s menu is offered at Sabor.
Dessert feature items like the Coco Loco, Mango Mousse, Zabiglione and various selection of Coffee, Dark Roast, Double Espress, Cappuccino and a Cafe Latte.
