A new restaurant opens up (across Gatsby’s on the bay, Freshtarian) on Bay Street called “Toppings”.  The restaurant is brings a unique concept of being simple, fresh and tasty.
The menu is not huge, but it offers a lot of everything, Various style burgers start at the top of the menu with offering of items such as the Big Poppa Burger, for $7 you get Fresh Ground of Sirloin, Brisket and Short Rib mix atop a Fresh Baked Sweet Potato Roll with Lettuce, Tomato and Special House Sauce.

The Truffle Burger is a similar blend as the other but it’s marinated in Truffle Oil and topped with a Parmesan crisp served with Lettuce, Tomato on top a Garlic Butter Bun served with Truffle on top.   For the even more interesting stuff, this is the only place on Staten Island that we see has LOBSTER ROLLS! Butter Poached Lobster Loaded up on a Fresh Sweet Potato Hot Dog Roll with Lettuce and Housemade Chips.  Cajun Pink (Shirmp Po’ Boy), Crab Cakes, Jerk Chicken,  Mac and Cheese, Lobster Mac and Wings also fill the rest of the menu.

The place features a neat dining area with various sauces to make your eating experience even better. Just like their slogan says “Eat, Drink, Chill”.
