This cozy neighborhood Restaurant and Bar is located 735 Castleton Avenue, 10310.  The place features a full size bar with tv’s as well as tables around the perimeter, classifying this as a Neighborhood Bar w/Grill.

The menu features favorite basic Appetizer pub fare such as Chicken Wings, Chicken Fingers, Broiled Cherrystone Clams, Shrimp Cocktails and more.  They also offer a few traditional salads and an interesting Cobb Salad and Gorgonzola Salad.  Add Chicken or Shrimp to any salad to make it a meal!.
Soups, Burgers and Hot Dogs (As well as a Hot Dog Hero with 2 Dogs, Bermuda Onion and Melted Cheddar Cheese.

The menu features items from sides such as Sauteed Spinach, Baked potatoes and the Entree’s get even better.  Crab Cakes, Shrimp in Green sauce, Fish and Chips, Skirt Steak, Rosted Chicken, Tortellini alla panna all sound delicious, cozy and home style.   The menu also features pizza and calzone’s.

Grand Opening Walk-Around BOMOND

A New restaurant opens up in Great Kills:  Bomond a Russian Cuisine has a very impressive design and unique feel to it.  The restaurant features a single room which is large and can be sectioned off for different parties or private dining tables, a dance floor and band station for live music & other entertainment and a mini-bar tables for waiting.

The owners went very heavy into detail; Everything from the curtains, the wall art and even the speakers are all top notch and match the layout very neatly.

Two Grand Openings: French Tart and Uncle Bourbon’s

We have a Grand Re-opening and a Grand Opening Staten Island.

Uncle Bourbon’s:  691 Bay Street is Staten Island’s first Gastropub, it features a very unique concept with dim lighting.  The restaurant features a full length bar, dining room with a stage.  The location is perfect for comedy nights, live bands and other various shows.  The food is stated “Gastropub” fresh comfort food with some various treats, a very unique menu which features some Mediterranean specialties, rabbit food, cooked in crocks ‘comfort food’, burger style bites and more.

The Restaurant Features a Bar Area at the entrance, Dining room with neat decorations and a clean light set-up, a Catering room which can be used for private parties big or small and an outdoor cafe.

Bay Side Cafe Lounge

Grand Opening of Restaurant Bay Side.  The restaurant features a Mediterranean cuisine, items such as Lamb Kebab’s, Hummus, Baba Ghanoush is all served in this lounge style atmosphere.  The previous restaurant at this location was (Al Hakorah Alboostan), both the dining rooms undergo some small renovations and different seating style, the back (Hookah Lounge) area adds some neat decorations which can create a little bit more private dining experience.

Bay Side does not serve alcohol at this time.

Lakruwana Grand Opening

Sri Lanka comes to Bay Street, in 40ft containers.  A highly impressive authentic design will have ethnic food lovers and food enthusiasts rushing to try this place.

On the outside wall is a neat design featuring Sri Lankin Heritage, Festival Style which is deeply seen by the red background color, people playing musical instruments and dancing.  Entering the restaurant delivers the pleasure of being in Sri Lanka, a great dining feel when dining in an ethnic restaurant.

Everything on the interior is thought out, the walk-around is a single room but every part, every inch was designed with authenticity.  The seats with rope backings, the walls rocky wood, designs featuring masks and various decoration, Sri Lankin Statues are actually from Sri Lanka imported by the owner himself in 40 ft containers,  The self serve weekend buffet which uses pots are also authentic from Sri Lanka.

Impressive factor keeps growing when you look at the Menu, backed to a wooden statue creates a unique atmosphere feel that I can’t wait to try.  With the thought that went into the design you can almost certainly bet that the food will be as authentic and probably very tasty.  Menu items featuring categories such as Sea Food from The Indian Ocean, Spicy Sizzler, Truly Sri Lankan Specialties.  We can’t forget about the check, The credit card sign slip is made of glass and wood with various nuts, barks, spices and wood and the check book is covered in wood stripes, very well designed.

Soho Pizza Factory

Just opened on Staten Island we have Soho Pizza Factory, from the original Salvatore of Soho on Hylan Blvd.  While on the journey to collect photos and the menu, I decided to try one of their Square slices, absolutely delicious.

Grand Opening of Better, Second location in Staten Island

Better the Gourmet Health Kitchen has opened up it’s doors in a second Staten Island location.
