It’s a brand new Tex-Mex type take out type of eatery with just a single dine in table.  But it’s okay these Tex-Mex spots are more known for affordable take out meals and dinners.  The restaurant is stating to use Olive Oil only.  Fast Free Delivery and they are opened 6 days, closed on Sundays.

The menu features the $6.99 combo specials, this is the plates that come with 2 pieces of fresh tortillas, mexican rice, beans, sour cream, salsa ranchera, lettuce and tomatoes, along with your selection of entree such as Grilled Chicken and Tex Mex chili.  Wide options include Steak, Jalapeno Pepper, Guacomale and Grilled Shrimp or Fried Fish. Food Island is also featuring standard American Classics including Fried Chicken, Crab Rangoon, Hot Dogs, Chicken Nuggets, Fried Scallops and Fried Fish.

Standard Tex-Mex cuisine at Food Island features grilled meats such as Steak, Chicken, Ground Beef in a choice of taco, burrito, quesadilla or a bowl.  The restaurant does feature Fajitas by the pound, and Chicken Wings.  Food Island even goes to serve Charbroiled Sandwiched, options such as BBQ Chicken, Spicy Steak, or the Super Sandwich can be had for $4.75 up to $7.25 for the stuffed sandwich made with Chicken, Steak, Bacon, Onions and Cheese.

Enchiladas Entree from this restaurant include Two Soft Tortilla rolled and stuffed with onion, tomateos, guacomle, sour cream with red sauce and melted cheese served alongside of Rice.  They even have Teriyaki on the menu and it is said to be “homemade”.  Teiryaki Burers such as Big Double Cheeseburger or a Cheeseburger with Guacomole.
