The growing strip of Fort Hamilton Parkway brings us a new ethnic cuisine, Mediterranean Hummus Garden opens it’s doors this week in Windsor Terrace.  The restaurant features a unique authentic design interior with booth style table couches with cloth surrounding to give it a neat decorative feel and make you feel you are dining in the country.

The Menu features a wide selection of salads with options from standard Garden to Spanish Eggplant and everything in between.  Turkish Salad, Red Cabbage, Chick Pea, Grape Leaves, Cauliflower and many more specialties such as Israeli Salad. The price: $3 for dining in or take out per $6 for 1/2 lb or 1lb at $9.

Sandwiches such as Shakshuka which is eggs marinated in tomato and red pepper sauce, Sabich which is hummus, fried eggplant, hard boiled egg, Israeli Salad and Tahini Sauce.  A few others fill the menu and prices vary from $6 to $7.5.  Various selection of Hummus, Garlic, Olive Oil, Lemon and Parsley with selection of various beans.  The restaurant features Soups of the Day and Split Pea as well as Lentil, they go for $3.50 dine in price.

The Hummus Garden also serves Main Dishes and include items such as Quiches, Bourekas, Malachway and Shashuka. Plates go for $8 to $12.
