Okay so what is up with this new ‘HOT SPOT’, the concept is similar to the BBQ joints around the neighborhood, select a Meat, Seafood or Vegetable and choose the sauce, spice level and get it made.  The menu is very simple, yet interesting and the presentation of the restaurant is AWESOME – Bento boxes on display, and great colors combine the entire atmosphere to be a trendsetter – for the neighborhood.

Menu items such as MEAT include everythign from Popcorn Chicken for $4 to Crispy Chicken Feet, Chicken Skin, Chicken Gizzard, Chicken Heart and Pork Roll.  All in the price range of $2.50 to $6.25

Seafood items go for $2.50 to $7 – enjoy items such as Octopus Ball, Golden Squid Cube, Avatar Squid Leg or the very famous (as by looking at the picture) the Crazy Jumbo Squid – oh my it looks delicious, we probably suggest sharing it and getting a vegetable on the side :)!  Oyster Mushrooms, Sweet Corn, Cucumber, Lotus, Asparagus, Broccol, Baby Corn, String Bean and Enoki Mushroom all sit on this menu.

Chi Ken also feature other specials such as Taiwan Authentic – Duck Neck, Layer Tofu, Black Rice Cake and a few others are available as well as “Foreign Cuisine” or American Cuisine for that matter inclues Waffle Fries, Japanese Croquette, Mozzarella Sticks and Sweet Potato Fries.

Bento Boxes can be had for $7 – $10 and include Popcorn Chicken Bento, Crispyu Chicken Cutlet, BBQ Crispy Chicken and the Crazy Jumbo Squid.
