Hop Shoppe open in Stapleton

It’s Staten Islands fastest growing neighborhood – with Errigo’s and Hash Tag bar opening, comes a new ‘Housemade Eats’ spot to Stapleton.

The restaurant replaces the Martini Red bar that once stood at the 372 Van Duzer street location and brings a completely renovated look as well as a full kitchen with some tasty looking items.  The restaurant serves items such as Small Plates for around $7 – $9 with items like the John’s Famous Arancini, Asian Flank Steak Skewers, Grandma’s Meatballs, Spicy Chorizo Empanadas, NY Reuben dumplings and many other offerings.  Wings have a selection of Extra Spicy Diablo, Roasted Garlic Old Bay and a few others.

A section dedicated just to Mac and Cheese is on the menu, 4 Cheese, Crushed Goldfish cracker toppings and choose some ingredients like the buffalo chicken, thick cut bacon, pulled pork, Jack Daniels caramelized onions, stout beer braised mushrooms, pickled jalapeno, grandma’s meatballs, $8 plus.

Burgers served with house made pickles, fries or a salad. Selection of Classic, Signature HUGO burger made from Angus blend of chuck, sirloin and round.  Sharp cheddar, jack Daniels caramelized onions, thick cut bacon, house made BBQ sauce, pickled dipped lettuce served on a toasted Brioche Bun.  Sandwiched include options of Bacon Wrapped hot dog topped with smoked mac and cheese, fried potato chip crusted marinated chicken, Asian flank steak.  Other menu items include Quesadillas, Sliders, Salads and Fries.
